I Hate WordPress Now

Image of angry person being driven to the brink of madness... by WordPress.I used to build entire websites with WordPress. Massive sites. Blog sites, news sites, fan sites…  There was nothing I couldn’t do with it.

Now, since the addition of block theming — that is, dumbing everything down to the point of assembling websites by stacking building blocks for illiterate children — there’s nothing I can do with it.

I tried to install ClassicPress, but could find no way to actually manage the site through Softaculous. Or cpanel.

I guess I’ll have to go back to coding everything from scratch — unless anyone has any brilliant ideas, aside from reverting to WP 4.9 (which throws up too many errors to bother with).
